Recognized Certifying Agencies:

- Women's Business Enterprise National Council

- National Women's Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC)

- National Minority Supplier Diversity Council
Enterprises may apply for certification through the numerous NMSDC Affiliate chapters. View listing of affiliates.

- Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB)
Certification is required and can be obtained through the SBA.

- Local chapters of the Chamber of Commerce and various state and city government agencies (such as: City of Atlanta, City of Philadelphia, Dept. of Transportation, etc.)

- Certification of Small Business Enterprises through the Small Business Administration
The SBA generally does not certify small businesses. A small business concern must self-certify if it is small under the size standard specified in the solicitation, or as clarified, completed or supplied by SBA pursuant to Sec. 121.402(d). Please check the table of size standards at www.sba.gov to see if your company is considered "small" under the guidelines administered by the SBA.

- Veterans
Veterans can self-certify as a veteran-owned business by completing and signing the Comcast Vendor Profile Form. Additionally, veterans should submit a copy of their DD-214 as proof of veteran status and honorable discharge from the military.

Service-disabled veterans should provide a copy of their letter of disability from the Veteran's Administration.
