We believe that there are fantastic students in our communities, and that supporting them can bring only good things to neighborhoods across the country. That's why we gave away more than $1.9 million in scholarships in 2008 -- and why we're doing it again this year.

Three Cool Programs, Thousands of Cooler Recipients

Our scholarships are awarded to students in three different programs:

Leaders and Achievers® - Recognizing graduating high school seniors for community service, academic achievement, positive attitude, and leadership. Gustave G. Amsterdam Leadership Awards - Grants are given each year to two Philadelphia public high school graduates who will be attending a Philadelphia college or university.

Emma L. Bowen Foundation Internships - A media and communications internship program for minority high school and college students.
